Indicator overview
We are currently working with the evaluation of the indicators and will soon share the results.
They are evaluated based on their ability to guide a decision maker about value for money in terms of the result from primary care, with an objective that this should also be able to guide the potential need to initiate improvements. This means that most of the so called “process indicators” that are used are of limited or no relevance from this view. In the perspective that we are evaluating chronic diseases, we consider these dimensions to be most important:
- Patient relevant outcomes
- Health Outcomes
- Outcomes that are linked to economic consequences
- Patient Empowerment
